Do I Need a Home Inspection?

 

An increasing number of buyers are requesting property inspections.

You have the right to request an inspection of any property you are thinking of purchasing by a professional inspector of your choice.  The primary purpose of the inspection is to educate the buyer to make an educated decision. I always recommend the buyer be present at the inspection, there is valuable information, which could increase the life span, and perhaps the future selling price of the home. When making what may be the largest purchase most will ever make it is prudent to have help determining the condition of the home.

Uses the State of Illinois, Standards of Practice to maintain a standard for all inspections. The report is computor generated, and contained in a permanent binder for your records.  Included with the report are full and complete explanations for any notations made.  For relocation, the report can be e-mailed as well. During the course of your inspection the inspector will look from top to bottom, side to side, front to back, and inside and out. As well as all themajor components.
